SPRING Camping:
Prince William Camp Grounds

In the Spring, we will visit Prince William Forest Campground. Turkey Run Ridge Group Campground is a 9-site campground with bathrooms (no showers), grills and picnic tables. Sites hold a maximum of 25 to 40 people and parking is readily available. Leashed pets are welcome.

🛶 Friday Night Option:
Anyone is welcome to arrive and camp on Friday night.

⏰ Arrival Saturday:

If you're camping overnight on Saturday, please arrive by 10:00 AM to select your campsite and set up before activities begin.

If you're joining for the day, please arrive by noon so we can start on time!

🏞️ Need to Know
Upon arrival, you’ll need to pay the park entrance fee (unless you have a valid pass).

No food is sold inside the park, so please come prepared.

The only meal provided is Saturday dinner. Please bring your own food for Saturday lunch, Sunday breakfast, and any other snacks.

FALL Camping:
Camp Outback in Shenandoah Valley (Luray)

Camp OutBack has 25 tent campsites under a canopy of hardwoods and white pines. The campground borders the George Washington National Forest and steps away from the Outfitters.

Spend your day either paddling the beautiful Shenandoah River, hiking on the mountain trails, fishing or swimming at nearby river access points.

The charming, picturesque town of Luray host small eateries, live entertainment, brews, shops and more. Also home to Luray Caverns and the Thorton Gap entrance to the Shenandoah National Park.

 

Campout Details:

Typically, our Fall campout happens at the end of October. More details will be provided as we get closer to the time.

Cost: Included in your annual dues—no additional cost for this campout!

🌲 What to Expect 🌲
Our campground is nestled in the scenic Shenandoah Valley, perfect for a fall getaway. Activities include a nature hike, den time, family time, and a Pack Dinner on Saturday, followed by a campfire program.

Arrival: You can join us Friday evening or early Saturday morning. Pack leadership will be there starting Friday at 4:00 pm to help you settle.
